President's Circle

With the start of the new school year here, our students are happy to be back on campus. I can still remember that feeling of anticipation and excitement this time of the year brings. Enrollment topped 14,200 with the first day of classes; things are moving right along on the campus of North Dakota State University.

President's Circle was established in 2001 to recognize generous individuals like you who support NDSU's mission, future and especially our remarkable students. We count on you to set the standard for leadership through volunteering and donating. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for North Dakota State University.

As the cost of providing a high quality education continues to rise, we need your support now more than ever. Your leadership gifts are imperative to NDSU's future. Tuition only covers about 40% of the actual cost of educating an NDSU student. Generous alumni support from donors like you strengthens the NDSU experience for all students. Last year over 80% of all students received some type of financial assistance because of private donations. This makes NDSU as competitive as possible in recruiting the most academically qualified students regardless of their financial circumstances.

Because of you, we are also able to retain and attract outstanding faculty who are the best within their chosen profession. This not only benefits our students, but it also leads to national recognition, which raises the value of what it means to have a degree from NDSU. Therefore, alumni support is vital in the university's success.

By supporting NDSU Annual Giving at the President's Circle level, you are helping us look ahead to our future. With our 14th president, Dean Bresciani, in office, we have a lot to look forward to at NDSU. The impact of your generosity will be felt by every student on campus.
