The Chamber of Commerce Distinguished Professor Award recognizes NDSU faculty members who have attained distinction in their profession while providing substantial service to the community and the region through volunteer work or other activities that directly benefit the community. The recipients of this award also have superior teaching and publishing records, awards, offices in national organizations and editorships, and financial and other support for scholarly activities from external sources.
