Dr. Gordon Bierwagen
Professor of Coatings and Polymeric Materials

The Waldron Award honors the late Fred Waldron, NDSU gradute, international 
geologist and an assistant professor of geology at NDSU. In 1998, the NDSU 
Development Foundation Board of Trustees established the Waldron Award to 
recognize a faculty member for outstanding contrubutions to research having a 
positive impact on the mission of NDSU. The Waldron Endowment was funded 
with a bequest from the estate of Fred Waldron.
