Writing a check to NDSU is the most popular method of giving. Checks should be made payable to the NDSU Development Foundation and mailed to:

Credit Card Payments

You may make a gift to NDSU using your credit card. Simply call 1-800-279-8971 or 1-701-231-6805.

Securities

A gift of long-term, appreciated securities can provide a double tax benefit-a current income tax deduction and avoidance of capital gain taxes. Securities held in certificate form may be mailed or delivered unendorsed to the Foundation's Controller, Ron Peterson along with a letter stating the purpose of the gift. Under separate cover, a stock power endorsed in blank should also be sent to the Controller, Ron Peterson.

Securities held in a brokerage or custodian account may be transferred electronically to the NDSU Development Foundation.

Other Assets

Gifts of real estate, closely held stock, and other assets can also be used to make a gift to NDSU.
