Impact on Students

"Donations have given me a great opportunity to learn in a hands-on environment. I am able to work with livestock, and also the new greenhouse project will give me the chance to learn in a state-of-the-art facility."

"As a communication major my personal education has been dramatically effected by donations, especially when those donations are for resources and technology available to the professors and TA's. Many students learn in different ways and with the expanding use of technology in the classroom, the professors are better able to reach every student and show examples of abstract concepts. I do not think I would enjoy my education as much without charitable donations made to the department of communication."

"As an accounting major and Legacy Group member, I am fortunate enough to be able to use Barry Hall every day. As I look around me, I am humbled by the private donations that went into making my education at NDSU top notch. People have invested in me. Hopefully, some day I'll be able to do the same."

"Donations to the College of Human Development and Education have allowed me to learn from hands on experiences by providing the infant and toddler cognitive lab, as well as providing many speakers to enhance my education."

"As a student who relies on scholarships to help pay for my education, I cannot thank our donors enough. I received the Class of 1950 scholarship and without it I would not be able to attend NDSU. Private support really does make a difference for students like me. I'm living proof that such generosity can help change people's lives."

"Donations have allowed students like me an opportunity to gain a personalized hands-on education, while providing the most up to date technology to keep graduates in demand above of the rest. I really couldn't see myself anywhere else than here at NDSU."
